FINANCE: Cordea Savills has appointed former SWIP property boss Malcolm Naish as chairman of the advisory committee of its £735m Charities Property Fund.
His appointment follows the retirement of Ian Flanagan.
Naish left SWIP in 2012 after five years with the firm. He also held positions at DTZ Investment Management, Fountain Capital Partners and JLL.
The Charities Property Fund has delivered an average total return of 10.8% per annum in the five years to June 2014, outperforming the AREF benchmark of 9.1% for the All Balanced Funds Index.
