A twin tower higher than the Eiffel with a “white-knuckle” elevator ride is being proposed for Poole, near Redruth in Cornwall. The £60m tower will include a helipad and a Poundbury-style village.
Creators Phil Hosken and Alan Prisk are looking to finance the scheme with Objective 1 EU money. Local agent Nick Seaton Burridge of Scott Burridge Chick said the scheme “is about as much use to Cornwall as a one-legged man in an arse-kicking competition”.
