Corrupt headmasters conspired with builder

Sheffield Crown Court has heard how two headmasters conspired with a builder to plunder thousands of pounds from school funds.

Howard White, 65, of Workshop, Nottinghamshire, and Philip Wright, 54, of Rotherham, were found guilty of conspiracy to defraud in respect of car parks built at the schools in South Yorkshire.

The builder, Philip Wright was also found guilty.

Wright quoted for work at the schools which was done at a cheaper price but he was paid the full amount. Further charges are under consideration.
