Costa grinds out Merseyside presence with Albert Dock flagship

Costa Coffee is to open a store on Liverpool’s Albert Dock as part of a wider roll-out across Merseyside. The retailer has signed for a 2,000 sq ft unit close to the Beatles Story museum and within walking distance of the new Arena and Convention Centre (ACC) at Kings Waterfront. The store includes almost 500 sq ft of outside space and has been designed to blend in with the historic Britannia Pavilion, in which it will be located. Optimum Coffee, which owns the Costa franchise on Merseyside, is also opening new stores in Ormskirk and Huyton, as well as Liverpool branches on Brownlow Hill and in the suburb of Allerton.
