The high court has ruled that local authorities can no longer issue blanket bans on Gypsies and Travellers stopping on parcels of land.
Councils have been using the injunctions against ‘persons unknown’ since 2015, but the court ruled that injunctions could only be used against named individuals, not entire communities.
