Two London councils are seeking buyers for sites that could deliver as many as 400 homes in the capital.
Lambert Smith Hampton has been appointed to find a buyer for a 200-home residential development opportunity in Wandsworth, SW18.
It will soon bring to market Garratt Place on behalf of Wandsworth borough council and South Thames College.
The Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios-designed scheme in Wandsworth town centre has detailed planning consent.
Knight Frank has been appointed by Hackney council to sell a 200-home scheme in Hoxton, N1, which will comprise two towers of 16 and 20 storeys.
The consented scheme is the third phase of the Colville Estate regeneration, which will see 925 new homes built, half of which will be for social rent and shared ownership.
Phase three includes 198 private homes and the sale is designed to help fund the replacement of 338 council homes currently on the estate.
Wilmott Dixon has already completed the first 40 homes for social rent in phase one and phase two is currently being procured.
Bids of around £50m are expected for the long leasehold interest in phase three.
The gross internal area of the scheme is almost 180,000 sq ft.
Philip Glanville, council cabinet member for housing, said: “Colville phase three is part of Hackney’s overall estate regeneration programme, which is focused above all else on ensuring that the council delivers quality new homes and neighbourhoods for its residents.”
