City folk may be wanting to move to the country as the pandemic grips, but country folk don’t want to sell.
Rettie, an estate agency base in Scotland, said that 27% fewer rural Scottish homes had been put on the market last year than in 2019.
Strutt & Parker said that many people who had put their homes on the market had withdrawn them, deciding that they would rather sit out the pandemic where they were.
