Countryside Partnerships North East has acquired an £80m GDV site in Stockton from the Co-operative Group.
The 73-acre site, Summerville Farm, has planning permission for 670 private and affordable homes.
The site was acquired for an undisclosed sum and falls within the West Stockton Sustainable Urban Expansion housing area.
Countryside Partnerships North East development director Andrew Rennie said: “Our track record managing large-scale housing projects of this kind is well proven and 750 homes have already been delivered at similar schemes near Redcar, at Kirkleatham Green and in Middlesbrough.
“We look forward to working with our affordable and private rental delivery partners – to be announced soon – to achieve similar success and quality here at Summerville Farm.”
