Countryside/Neptune secure funding for Mann Island

Mann Island, Liverpool

Countryside Properties and Neptune Developments have secured funding for their Mann Island scheme on Liverpool waterfront.

The value of the funding package with Bank of Scotland Corporate is undisclosed but sources described it as an “eight figure” sum.

It will be used to fund the first stage of the £128m development, which comprises two residential buildings of 376 flats.

All the flats were pre-sold to North West investor Dylan Harvey in January.

Mann Island will also includes 100,000 sq ft of offices (prelet to Merseytravel), 80,000 sq ft of shops and a 13,000 sq ft exhibition venue.

The first residential element is due for completion next June, with the second building due for completion in summer 2010.
