Countryside’s revenue rises 184%

Countryside has bounced back from the pandemic with more than 1,000 homes completed over the last quarter.

The mixed-tenure housebuilder said that completions were up by 144% to 1,096 homes, while revenue rose by 184% to £287m.

By comparison, the same quarter last year earned £101m.

So far this year Countryside has completed 3686 homes, up from 2,720 in 2020. Delays on site starts caused by the pandemic meant that only 114 sites were being developed, against 131 for the same quarter last year.

Countryside’s forward order book stands at £1.2bn, in line with expectations.
