Countrywide has appointed Peter Long, former chief executive of travel agent TUI, as its non-executive chairman.
Long, who is also chairman of Royal Mail, will take up his role following Countrywide’s annual general meeting on 27 April, when current non-executive chairman Grenville Turner stands down.
Long has a wealth of board experience, including former roles at RAC, Rentokil Initial and Debenhams. He will work alongside chief executive Alison Platt.
