A Ringwood couple must wait to find out whether their High Court attempt to gain permission for new changing rooms at their swimming pool has succeeded.
Judgment has been reserved on a challenge by Anthony and Karen Sinclair to an inspectors dismissal of their appeal against New Forest District Councils refusal of planning permission for the new changing room and toilet at Spyholms, Bisterne Close, Burley, Ringwood, Hampshire. The property lies within the New Forest heritage area.
The Sinclairs have already enjoyed High Court success, when a judge quashed a previous planning inspectors decision against the scheme.
The judge ordered that the matter be returned to the Secretary of State for reconsideration. However, when the scheme was reconsidered by a second inspector, his decision reflected that of the first. It is against this decision that the Sinclairs are appealing.
