Courier service Parceline has taken a 32,024 sq ft (2,975 sq m) regional distribution centre at Lymedale Cross business park, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire.
Parceline, a brand of the French La Poste group’s Geopost subsidiary, is paying £140,000 pa for the building.
The deal means that 300,000 sq ft (27,870 sq m) of the 37-acre (15ha) park’s existing 500,000 sq ft (46,450 sq m) is now let. Tenants include TK Maxx.
Robert Lewin, associate director at Colliers CRE, which advised landlords Deutsche UK Property Fund and Barlows, said: “With over half of the space already occupied, we are looking to provide further opportunities by providing design-and-build units from 10,000 sq ft (929 sq m) up to 200,000 sq ft (18,580 sq m).”
Tenants tipped to take space at the park are ASDA, which is expected to opt for a 234,000 sq ft (21,739 sq m) warehouse, and TLP Distribution, which is thought likely to take 85,000 sq ft (7,900 sq m).
