Court Collaboration has appointed Midgard to lead the £145m construction of Edition Birmingham.
The 581-home development ranges across two towers, including the 46-storey Centenary Tower. Construction is set to begin in the coming months, with phase one set for completion in 2027.
Edition Birmingham has already generated over £85m in off-plan sales and will offer residents luxury wellness amenities such as a swimming pool, spa, sky gym, two-floor climbing wall, co-working spaces and a sky lounge.
The development backed by PGIM is Court Collaboration’s first for-sale residential scheme on a Brindley Place car-park site that was the company’s fourth plot acquired from the council.
Cadence Projects have been appointed as project manager alongside MGAC who will be providing cost management services. SOM is providing engineering consultancy on the development, with interior design from Weedon Architects.
Alex Neale, chief executive of Court Collaboration, said: “Edition Birmingham is visually stunning and will be built to the very highest standards of safety and quality. We’re very pleased to have Midgard on board as our contractor and we can now look forward to breaking ground and bringing this world-class development to Birmingham.”
Kevin Keegan, director of JRL Group and Midgard, added: “We are delighted to be entrusted with delivering another major project in Birmingham. Edition will be a major milestone in the redevelopment of the Birmingham skyline and we are excited to be involved in such a high-quality development.”
