RLAM’s proposal for an island site in the heart of Covent Garden has been given the go-ahead by Westminster council. The £35m development of 57-59 Long Acre, WC2, is expected to be completed in 12 months. The site borders Bow Street, Floral Street and Hanover Place and will provide seven flats, 6,533 sq ft (605m2) of restaurants, 32,100 sq ft (2,980m2) of offices and 3,230 sq ft (300m2) of light industrial.
