Coventry City’s football stadium could be up for sale, along with the club itself.
Sisu, the the Mayfair-based hedge fund that owns the football club, said it was open to offers after local rugby team Wasps, which owns the shared stadium, admitted missing payments on the stadium’s £35m bond.
Sisu believes Wasps’ distress presents an opportunity for a third party to make an offer for the club and, at the same time, bid to acquire the lease for the Coventry Building Society Arena.
