Plans have been submitted for a £75m mixed-use development in Orpington, Kent. The London Leisure Hub will include a new stadium for London’s oldest football club, Cray Wanderers, alongside commercial space.
The scheme, which is being developed by Cray Wanderers’ chairman Gary Hillman, comprises a 4,000-5,000 capacity stadium, 38,000 sq ft of shops and commercial space, a 112-bedroom hotel and leisure facilities.
More than 182 homes will also be built on the 30-acre site, with cash raised from the sale of the residential element used to help fund the project.
Pellings is advising on planning; Acorn Commercial is agent on the scheme.
