Commercial Real Estate Finance Council Europe, a trade body for real estate financiers, has named Alison Lambert of Martley Capital Group as its chair elect.
Lambert will follow Nassar Hussain of Brookland, who takes over as chair from DekaBank’s Chris Bennett.
Before joining Martley Capital Group, a firm established this year by M7 Real Estate founder Richard Croft, Lambert was head of finance for Europe at Oxford Properties.
CREFC Europe chief executive Peter Cosmetatos said: “The level of engagement and support we receive from the industry in these persistently volatile and turbulent times has been gratifying, a reminder that it is in such times that trade associations can come into their own.
“The strength and dedication of our board members have been constants over the years, but it’s appropriate that we will be led over the next year by someone with the breadth of market experience and history with the association that Nassar has, and that in Alison he will be followed by the first CREFC Europe chair from the borrowing side of the market.”
