Crest Nicholson exits movie studio in sale to Aviva

Crest Nicholson is selling a 50% stake in a Surrey film studio used for Star Wars and James Bond movies to joint venture partner Aviva for £45m.

The company will sell its holding in Longcross Studio, on the northern side of Longcross Garden Village, as well as a parcel of land on the southern side of the site.

Crest Nicholson will continue to own a 50% interest in the remaining 195 acres of Longcross Garden Village, which is expected to deliver up to 1,700 homes. The company said it expects to develop and complete this part of the project.
