Manchester Airport Group Property has hired senior property figures from PwC and BAE Systems to head development and estate management respectively.
Jonathan Haigh has worked as PwC’s real estate director since September 2009, prior to which he was development director at Ballymore.
He will oversee MAG’s major developments and property portfolio, which includes Manchester Airport City (pictured).
Ken Mellis will join as head of estates management and risk, taking responsibility for facilities management of the £600m investment portfolio.
He was at BAE for seven years, as well as having established and implemented a number of enterprise zones.
MAG Property chief executive Lynda Shillaw said: “We are developing the MAG Property business by strengthening the team with two high-calibre recruits who each have specialist expertise and broad experience. This is critical as we move into a very exciting period, and position our business for growth.”
