Criterion plans Royal revamp

  Criterion Capital, run by Asif Aziz, is to redevelop the Royal Adelphi Hotel at 13-15 Villiers Street, WC2, as 20 flats.   The plans, approved by Westminster council, were originally drawn up to accommodate the housing requirement triggered by the company’s redevelopment of leisure landmark the Trocadero.   The 24,000 sq ft scheme will also include six affordable flats and 8,000 sq ft of shops and restaurants. It will be brought forward independently following the inclusion of flats in the Trocadero scheme.   bridget.oconnell@rbi.co.uk
