A meeting of BMW’s supervisory board today could be the final nail in the coffin for its Rover subsidiary’s Longbridge plant, in Birmingham.

The Times reports that Rover insiders have said that BMW has already abandoned Longbridge and that a £2bn rescue package is a sham.
