Crosby Lend Lease signs trio of retailers in Leeds

Crosby Lend Lease has signed three fashion brands to its £250m Clarence Dock development in Leeds.


 


The retail and residential property group has signed Denim brand G-Star for 2,200 sq ft on a 15-year lease. It is due to open in October and will be the brand’s first outlet in Leeds.


 


Rock Couture, another denim brand, will take up 5,000 sq ft on a 15-year lease. The store is scheduled to open in August and will also be the brand’s first in Leeds.


 


Fashion brand All Saints will occupy 5,000 sq ft on a 10-year lease. It is due to open in October and already has a presence in Leeds’ Victoria Quarter.


 


All three are paying around £40 per sq ft.


 


The retail and residential property group said it was targeting “cutting edge” brands to emulate London’s Carnaby Street at Clarence Dock.


 


Simon Kidd, commercial lettings director, Crosby Lend Lease, said: “The completion of Clarence Dock will provide the perfect environment for iconic urban fashion to be presented to its best advantage.”


 


The 1.25m sq ft waterfront mixed use development 1,124 homes, offices, a hotel, a conference hall, restaurants, a casino, cafes and bars.
