Crosslane Group has purchased a 148-bed student housing property in Sciennes, Edinburgh, for £8.4m.
The site was acquired from Edinburgh-based Peaston & Co, and will continue to be leased to the University of Edinburgh until autumn 2012.
Crosslane Group expects to refurbish the property once the lease to the university expires.
Savills advised Peaston & Co on the deal.
