The Crossrail bill the proposed government legislation covering the high speed east-west link across London has been carried over to the next parliament.
In parliament today all parties agreed to discuss the bill at the second reading stage after the election, meaning the £10bn project could still go ahead.
However the bill, which was introduced in February, made no mention of how the scheme would be funded.
