Former Northacre chief executive Jayne McGivern has joined the Crossrail board as a non-executive director.
The infrastructure and development specialist, who is chair of Croydon Council Urban Regeneration Vehicle, started a three-year Crossrail term on 1 September.
Crossrail also provided a further update on the board. Non-executive board member Terry Hill has been reappointed for a further three-year term until 31 August 2017, and Phil Gaffney, has been reappointed for a further three-year term until 31 March 2017.
Heather Rabbatts stepped down on 12 August while Ian Brown will step down from when his three-year term expires on 30 September 2014.
Crossrail chairman Terry Morgan CBE said: “Crossrail is now more than half way to completion and is being delivered on time and within its £14.8bn funding envelope. The appointment of Jayne McGivern to the Crossrail Board will provide invaluable property and regeneration expertise as we move forward with developments above stations and urban realm improvements.”
