The Crown Estate has sold a 33-acre site in Marlborough, Wiltshire, to Redrow Homes.
The site off Salisbury Road has planning permission for 175 homes, 40% of which will be affordable, and a hotel.
The land is part of the Crown Estate’s strategic land portfolio, which consists of over 60 sites across the UK, with a capacity for 15,000 new homes.
In the last year, The Crown Estate has secured planning permission for over 7,000 new homes across the UK.
Savills have been appointed to advise on the portfolio.
