The Crown Estate has appointed Kate Bowyer as chief financial officer, replacing John Lelliott, who is retiring.
Bowyer joins from Intu Properties where she was director of finance and a member of the executive committee.
In her new position Bowyer will work closely with Alison Nimmo, the chief executive of the Crown Estate to help determine the company’s strategic agenda and will also have a place on the executive committee.
Bowyer joined Intu in 2000 as group financial controller before becoming head of investor relations, business relations director and then director of finance in August 2014.
She began her career with PwC.
