Crown Estate secures two lettings at W1 scheme

The Crown Estate has announced two new lettings at 13-17 New Burlington Place, W1.

The development, adjacent to Regent Street, is currently home to the Crown Estates corporate headquarters, and will now also house fund management firm Trafelet & Company UK LLP and South African restaurant company the Bukhara Group.

Trafelet & Company UK LLP, part of the New York based Trafelet Delta Funds, will relocate their UK headquarters from Savile Row to 9,000 sq ft of office space on the second floor on a 10 year lease with a five year break.

The Bukhara Group will launch Asian restaurant “Haiku” in 3,700 sq ft on the ground floor at 15 New Burlington Place.

Peter Hofbauer, chief operating officer of Trafelet Delta Funds, said: “As we expand our business in the UK, it was important that we chose a prestigious building in the heart of London’s West End.

“We feel that New Burlington Place is the right place for us.”

The Crown Estate was advised by CBRE; Trafelet & Company LLP were advised by Cluttons.

For the Bakhura deal The Crown Estate was advised by Davis Coffer Lyons.
