A joint venture between Orion and Pears Group has received planning permission for a mixed-use scheme on Ascot Road in Watford that will include 485 homes.
Watford Council granted permission for Orion Cassiobridge’s scheme, which includes 170 affordable homes plus shops and restaurants.
It is the first scheme to come forward under the Croxley View and Ascot Road masterplan and one of the first to realise the council’s policy on taller buildings.
Orion is a privately-owned property development company specialising in urban regeneration of underutilised sites and is investing more than £130m in Watford.
