Cubex given the nod for £150m Bristol student scheme

Cubex has been given the go-ahead to deliver a £150m student accommodation scheme in the Temple Quarter, Bristol.

The 22-storey building, designed by Corstorphine & Wright, will deliver 530 student homes across a mix of studios and cluster rooms.

The proposals also feature commercial space to enhance the local community, delivery of a new public link to the river walkway, and a new boulevard on Albert Road.

Cubex, backed by Fiera Real Estate, and joint venture partner Alara Investments acquired the site last year. The scheme is Cubex’s first venture into student accommodation and forms part of its strategy to expand into the wider living sector, covering BTR, PBSA and co-living.
