Intellectual property specialist Mewburn Ellis has signed for 13,326 sq ft at Cubex’s Aurora office scheme in Finzel’s Reach in Bristol.
The firm will take a 15-year lease on the first floor of the building, which is being developed speculatively and due to complete next summer. It will move from its current office at Queen Square.
Aurora is one of only six buildings in the UK and the only one outside of London to have BREEAM “Outstanding” accreditation.
The 95,000 sq ft office is part of the Finzels Reach development funded by Palmer Capital. Hotel and residential phases have already been completed, with Grainger forward-finding the circa 200 rental flats.
Peter Walford, director at Cubex, said: “This deal confirms our belief that there is demand in Bristol for a building of this quality and with the highest sustainability credentials that combine to produce an outstanding place to work, with substantially lower running costs.”
Knight Frank and Savills acted for Cubex Land and Alder King acted for Mewburn Ellis.
