A new letting to Currys at Prudential’s Cribbs Causeway retail park has doubled the rental levels.
Currys has agreed to take the 3,251m2 (35,000 sq ft) former Homebase unit after the Pru took a surrender of the DIY store’s lease and went out to bids. The deal has been agreed at a rent equating to £215 per m2 (£20 per sq ft).
The letting is crucial evidence for the rent reviews that are due this year. The new letting would probably indicate rents up to around £237 per m2 (£22 per sq ft) for smaller units.Dixons already has a PC World store on the park.
