The style-led Mondrian hotel brand is to return to London after signing a deal to take over the five-star Curtain hotel in Shoreditch.
The 115,000 sq ft Curtain opened in 2017. It was bought by the Reuben brothers in a sale and leaseback deal in 2018, and closed last month after the impact of Covid-19 sent it into liquidation.
The 120 bed hotel will be renamed the Mondrian Shoreditch London, but the Curtain name will be retained on the private members’ club.
