Cushman & Wakefield has named Aubrey Waddell as the new chief executive of its global occupier services division.
Waddell joined Cushman in 2021 as global head of commercial operations for GOS. Her role focused on devising real estate solutions for the occupiers on aspects including workplace strategy, facility and project management and transaction management.
Before joining the firm, Aubrey oversaw commercial strategy for JLL’s largest enterprise occupier clients. She also served as general counsel for JLL’s workplace dynamics business in the Americas.
Waddell replaces Bill Knightly in the role. Cushman credited Knightly’s “significant contributions” to the firm, beginning with his work on the merger of DTZ, Cassidy Turley and Cushman & Wakefield.
Andrew McDonald, global president and chief operating officer, said: “Our GOS business has been a top priority for many years now, as it is integral to our overall firm and client strategy – we have every confidence that Aubrey and the GOS leadership team will continue the growth of this critical service line.”
He added: “We are incredibly grateful for the contributions Bill made in multiple roles over the past nine years, and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
Waddell said her team is “wholly focused on positioning our firm and clients for long-term, sustainable growth”.
