Cushman & Wakefield has joined forces with New York-based proptech accelerator Metaprop NYC in its quest to identify new real estate technology companies.
The partnership should give the global agent fast-track access to some of the world’s most promising new tech firms, which will then have access to pilot programmes, partnerships, investment, acquisition potential and other opportunities.
Brett White, chairman and chief executive of Cushman & Wakefield, said: “With the pace of change in the world today, we have to remain quick and agile to deliver value to our customers. We favour new organisational models that leverage strategic partnerships and reject our industry’s convention to self-perform every aspect of the value chain.
“By partnering with some of the best and brightest minds in real estate technology, our partners succeed, and our clients succeed.”
Aaron Block, founding partner and managing director, MetaProp NYC, said: “Cushman & Wakefield is now laser focused on the future of real estate. It is in touch with clients’ needs, it knows its internal strengths and it has begun to establish deep relationships with the broader proptech community to take advantage of the best new real estate technologies.”
