The French division of Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Denis Samuel-Lajeunesse to takeover as CEO in January 2007.
Samuel-Lajeunesse, who will join the company in September this year, replaces outgoing CEO Robert Lipscomb, due vacate the post at the end of 2006.
Samuel-Lajeunesse, 58, has been CEO of the French Government Shareholding Agency (APE) at the Ministry of Finance since 2003.
He started his career at the Ministry of Finance where he worked as an assistant director of financial markets and later as the director of International Affairs, before joining Lyonnaise de Banque as CEO in 1992 where he worked for 10 years.
Lipscomb, who has been CEO since 1992, joined the company in 1985 and is a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s European board and president of the boards of the Spanish and Portuguese offices.
