Justin Taylor, head of EMEA retail at Cushman & Wakefield, is leaving the business to set up his own consultancy.
Digby Flower, who is chairman of the UK and Ireland at C&W, is overseeing the agency’s retail team. Flower has spent more than 30 years specialising in the central London market.
Taylor joined C&W 38 years ago, in 1981, and became an equity partner in 1997.
He was appointed a member of C&W’s UK board in 2011 and became head of the firm’s UK retail and leisure team in 2012.
He specialises in retail agency, occupier, development and shopping centre leasing.
Taylor is the second head of EMEA retail to leave a major agency in recent months. Nick Martel, who was head of EMEA retail advisory and transactions at CBRE, left the agency in February after 13 years.
C&W declined to comment.
