Cushman & Wakefield has hired Chris White from Strutt & Parker to join its retail capital markets team as a partner.
With more than 10 years’ experience, White has worked on a number of high-profile transactions. These include the sale of Eastgate Centre in Basildon, Essex, for British Land, the sale of The Lanes in Carlisle, Cumbria, for Aviva and the purchase of Green Lanes in Barnstaple, Devon, for Rockspring.
White joins Cushman & Wakefield’s 12-strong team of UK town centre retail investment agents. The team has transacted nearly £4bn of shopping centres over the past two years.
Charlie Barke, head of shopping centre investment, said: “I’m delighted that Chris has decided to join our strong team. He is a well-respected, leading agent and will no doubt build an excellent career at the firm.”
