C&W promotes Roberts

George-Roberts-THUMBCushman & Wakefield has promoted its head of London occupier representation, George Roberts, to the role of head of London markets, effective 1 January 2015.

Roberts has advised Microsoft, Amazon, Omnicom and EY since he joined the firm in 2010.

UK chief executive Digby Flower, who took control of London markets in 2012, will continue to play a key role in the strategic direction of the business in London as well as continue to work with key clients.

Partner Ben Cullen will succeed Roberts as head of occupier representation, while James Meikle will extend his role as head of City occupier representation to include occupier representation across EMEA.

Flower said: “Our London business has developed significantly over the past couple of years and is in great shape to expand further in the coming months. As London’s global appeal continues unabated, we are incredibly well positioned to take advantage of the market and will continue to work with the world’s leading organisations.”
