CWM hires Colliers central London retail director

Niche retail and leisure agency CWM has appointed Colliers International director and head of brand representation Peter Flint as a partner.

Flint founded and led the brand representation team within Colliers’ central London retail team. Before he joined Colliers in 2015, he was head of central London tenant representation at Savills.

Flint specialises in working with retail occupiers to optimise portfolios through strategic acquisitions, disposals and restructuring, and has recently worked with clients including Uniqlo, Inditex, Oka, Sky, Laderach, Paul and Vodafone.

At CWM he will advise the firm’s retail clients across their UK portfolios as well as work on some of central London’s major mixed-use developments.

Scott Murdoch, founding partner at CWM, said: “Peter is a great senior hire for us at partner level as he is extremely well regarded by both his clients and peers in the industry.

“He brings a wealth of retailer representation experience and landlord advisory work to CWM – especially in central London, and his recruitment is a major statement of intent from us, as we continue to invest in the strategic services we provide to our clients.”

Flint said: “The retail landscape has seen unprecedented changes over the past few years and CWM has been a leading light in guiding both landlords and tenants through this period.”

The hire comes after former JLL directors Nick McConnell and Mark Rudman also joined CWM to set up a new out-of-town business in November.

Last March the business recruited Steve Ardron, former interim estates manager at Debenhams, as a senior consultant.
