One of Ireland’s biggest property websites has been ordered to stop publishing “discriminatory rental adverts”.
The Workplace Relations Commission found that terms such as “rent allowance not accepted” and “would suit family or professionals only” breached anti-discrimination laws.
The Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission (IHREC) took a case against Daft Media Limited, which owns Daft.ie, almost three years ago. Daft was referred to the WRC by the commission in October 2016.
