Associated Dairies of Leeds has bought Scottish & Newcastle Breweries’ Lion production and distribution complex at the Matthew Brown Lion Brewery in Blackburn, Lancs.
Officially no price is being disclosed, but the purchasers are believed to have paid about £3m for the 151,000-sq ft property.
Associated Dairies’ soft drinks division will occupy the premises. Bernard Thorpe advised the vendors.
