Palmer Capital backed Danescroft Land have won planning for a 491-home residential led scheme in Bromley-by-Bow, E3, by the London Legacy Development Corporation.
Designed for the build-to-rent sector, the scheme will include shared amenity spaces, gym and residents’ lounge. It will consist of four towers up to 27 storeys.
It will include 110 flats at discounted market rent.
The disused office was bought in summer 2014 for £13m and consists of two adjoining sites totalling 2.4 acres, Access House and Clock House.
The site forms part of the LLDC’s masterplan for Bromley-by-Bow South, which includes thousands of new homes as well as new commercial space.
GL Hearn and Assael advised on the application.
