Danone signs for Chiswick Park

Chiswick-Park-Building-7-THUMB.jpegChiswick Park, asset-managed by Blackstone, has secured Danone as its first tenant for Building 7, W4.

The company has taken 42,000 sq ft, part of the fifth floor and the entire sixth floor at the 334,000 sq ft building on a 10-year lease. Rents on the floors are quoted upwards of £50.

Danone’s move will create two UK bases for the business, at Chiswick Park and in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, bringing together Danone’s three FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) businesses at the Chiswick site.

James Mayer at Danone said: “We have chosen Chiswick Park as the new location for one of our two UK head-office sites because of the synergies between our business culture and Enjoy-Work’s ethos that if people enjoy work, they work better. Our new, custom-designed offices will ensure that we continue to encourage creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit and offer greater opportunities to collaborate as we grow our UK business.”

Savills, CBRE and DTRE are the joint letting agents for Chiswick Park. JLL acted for Danone.
