Property veteran David Coffer is eyeing a multimillion-pound windfall after putting his Dirty Martini cocktail chain up for sale.
His company, CG Restaurants & Bars, which owns 12 sites in cities including London, Cardiff and Manchester, has hired advisers to find a buyer after receiving a number of approaches.
The company, which posted sales of £22m last year, also operates Tuttons restaurant in Covent Garden and nearby pizza restaurant Fire & Stone.
CG was founded by Coffer, who is chairman of leisure agency Davis Coffer Lyons. He and his family own about 80% of the business, which is valued at about £40m.
