David Lloyd, who recently resigned from the board of Whitbread, is set to make a comeback having raised £20m to launch a new sports-centres chain.
Centres will soon open in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Edinburgh with Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Cardiff expected to follow.
