David Morgan bowls into MCC role

David Morgan has assumed the role of president of Marylebone Cricket Club, with a focus on moving forward the masterplan for Lord’s cricket ground, NW8.


The former ICC president replaces outgoing president Mike Gatting , and will hold the role for 12 months.


Consent is in place for a Populous-designed £200m scheme to increase the stadium’s capacity to 32,000 seats, as well as a 135-seat restaurant and new commercial buildings.
