Corporate finance adviser DC Advisory is launching a UK real estate offering with the hire of a London-based managing director.
Hoong Wey Woon joins as real estate and healthcare managing director from mid-market investment banking firm Alantra, where he was UK head of real estate and hospitality.
Hoong Wey brings considerable M&A, capital raise and debt experience. He advised Godwin Developments on establishing a £1bn build-to-rent vehicle with a US private equity firm last year and advised on the sale of a stake in pop-up mall developer Boxpark to Lloyds Development Capital in 2021.
Hoong Wey also brings expertise in healthcare property and restructuring.
His team includes Max Hagelstein, formerly a director at Rivercrown Group, and Matthew Craythorne, formerly at Deloitte.
