De Savary puts two hotels on the market

Leisure tycoon Peter De Savary has brought two Devonshire hotels to market for £2.85m in total.



 


The White Hart Hotel in Moretonhampstead, a 28-bedroom hotel dating back to 1639, and country pub/hotel the Sandy Park Inn, Changford, are being sold with guide prices of £1.95m and £900,000 respectively.



 


De Savary is selling the properties to concentrate on his hotel and leisure development the Cary Arms in South Devon.



 


De Savary, the founder of the exclusive Carnegie Club, is best known in Devon for his redevelopment of Bovey Castle – the first five star-hotel to open in the county for 50 years.
